This year has been a very exciting year – filled with ups and downs but ALWAYS staying inspired. I’m truly grateful for my family, my kitties, my health and my friends who have fully supported me on my path. I’ve received many questions about my diet and lifestyle changes. The recurring response among many tends to be one of the same: “I could never do that.” They seem to throw in the towel before they even attempt to begin. The great news is that anyone can start wherever is easiest for them – because if it’s not easy then chances are their path to health and wellness can become a struggle rather than a blessing. Changing just one habit at a time is better than not changing anything at all. We tend to think about all the things we need to give up, instead of what we will gain.

Detoxification is extremely important for optimal health. Some people don’t seem to think it’s necessary – but that’s because they’ve probably never done a detox or they’ve never had one done properly. They don’t have anything to compare their every day state of being to. If there is toxic waste gumming up your system then how is the good stuff supposed to get in?
Once I discovered the possibilities of curing disease through a raw food diet, I must admit I was extremely skeptical. The word on the street was that it is possible to reduce symptoms through diet and exercise but a CURE for ADD/ADHD? Forget about it! I went into it very VERY slowly. I’m a foodie and I seriously wasn’t trying to give up meat, sushi, and desserts – or any cooked foods for that matter. But I had to try this just so I can say I HAVE tried everything.
